Overview

Mizar Imaging is proud to bring you the Tilt, a modular light sheet illumination system designed for high-resolution imaging. The Tilt enables light sheet imaging on most modern inverted microscopes and is compatible with high numerical aperture objectives (including oil immersion!). This means capturing fine details inside living cells for longer. Additionally, the Tilt is easy to use and affordable. Why light sheet microscopy? Light sheet imaging helps reduce photobleaching by illuminating your sample with a thin sheet of light. When your cells are exposed to less light there is less photodamage, allowing you to image biological processes that are physiologically relevant. Our founder and President, Paul Maddox, invented this technology for his wife, Amy Maddox, who was having bleaching problems but also wanted to image with high resolution.
