Mission Innovation X (MIx) enables mission-driven organizations and dual-use ventures to better solve the world’s biggest challenges. We work with mission-driven organizations to help realize their goals MIx connects problem owners, such as mission-driven organizations, with capability providers, which are often in the form of dual-use ventures. We also communicate the broader dual-use context and inspire the MIT community to participate in our mission-driven ecosystem. We accelerate dual-use companies so that they can make their impact on global society We accelerate and nurture ventures that will make an impact on these global challenges, and we also seek to advance both the science and practice of dual-use innovation for the benefit of society through the identification of dual-use venture pathways. We connect and expand the MIx community to explore cross-disciplinary ideas We collaborate with mission-driven organizations to help solve the world’s challenges through research and education. MIx deploys a variety of mission innovation programs to support these aims, including grants and partnerships, fellowships, sponsored research, and experiential learning activities.
