Overview

Miss Maud’s story began in Stockholm, where Swedish born Maud Edmiston trained to become an International Convention and Public Relations Organiser, market research expert and Travel Authority. Maud’s travels led her to Perth where, in 1971, she embarked on the adventure of a lifetime and established Perth’s first authentic Miss Maud Swedish Pastry House. In 1971 Miss Maud opened the first Swedish Pastry House in City Arcade Perth – 50 years on and there are 17 cafe locations, the 24 hour Swedish Bakehouse, and Catering service; with over 500 staff who are dedicated to improving, changing and developing – always with our customers’ needs in mind. The Miss Maud Constitution All our efforts are designed to give our customers pleasure by understanding their needs and providing for these abundantly. We communicate honestly and openly about what must be done, work effectively and deal fairly and kindly with one another in a spirit of co-operation. Each of us takes responsibility for our company and we create our own future by pursuing the goals with which we are entrusted.
