Overview

Mishpatim, the Hebrew University Law Review is the oldest and most prominent academic law journal in Israel. It was first established in 1968, by Aharon Barak (later a judge and then President of the Supreme Court) and Yitzhak Zamir (later a judge on the Supreme Court). Since then, it has become a leading platform for established academic jurists, as well as for scholars with new approaches to legal research. The Law Review publishes articles, essays and legal studies from various perspectives: doctrinal, empirical, interdisciplinary and others. Mishpatim is the only law review in Israel administered exclusively by students.
