Minority Business Growth Alliance (MBGA)

Non-profit Organizations

Overview

Our Story The Minority Business Growth Alliance (MBGA) is a grass-roots organization that helps minority-owned businesses develop new and critical capabilities to grow. We are an alliance of professionals who work one-on-one with minority business owners, offering their expertise and time; leveraging our privilege to make a difference. Working exclusively through well-established non-profits that serve minority businesses, we providing resources and expertise to help them offer individualized pro-bono services and consulting to their clients. We are working to create greater understanding and appreciation across cultures by making personal and professional connections that help break through systemic racism. Motivated by a desire to build bridges across racial boundaries, this professional network came together to support Black business owners, while increasing awareness of racial equity issues. After receiving an overwhelming response, and with the interest of partner organizations already connected to minority owned businesses, we quickly formed a task force to build the infrastructure for Minority Business Growth Alliance. The core leadership team shares a vision for extending the capabilities and reach of the organization. Collectively, MBGA consultants have decades of experience and a passion for helping minority business owners build equity and achieve their business goals. Our alliance is built to serve our clients — minority-owned businesses seeking consulting and operations support. Clients who work with the MBGA can expect to diversify their network and resources while working with subject-matter experts who are dedicated to the growth of their clients’ business.
