Metro Coffee Company

Overview

In 2002 long time friends decided to embrace their entrepreneurial spirit and start a much needed local coffee shop in the heart of downtown Casper. Once they had their location picked, they started construction on the space and renovating 241 David Street. They worked night and day and with some hard work, a little creativity, and some thrifty business ideas Metro was created. The shop did well and became a Casper staple for local coffee and a place to meet and greet friends. They later sold the business to John Norgaard and his step-son Nelson Giese. They continued to keep the Metro dream alive for over 10 years. Again the shop changed hands as the planets came into alignment and Sean Peverley and his partners saw it as the perfect opportunity to take this well established business and expand it. They opened a second location on the east side of Casper and began roasting their own coffee beans as well as baking their own fresh bagels.
