Metehe Oy is in 1998 established privately owned Finnish company specializing in importing and pre- and further processing of coated steel. We manufacture a comprehensive range of steel roofings, facade systems and related products. We also supply raw materials as coils, strips and sheets to sectors of industry that use steel sheet products. We serve consumers and the industry using steel sheets directly from our factory and stock service centers combining high quality with reasonable prices and professional and fast service. Former subsiadiry Plannja Oy Ab was merged into the mother company on 31.12.2015 and all business is carried under Metehe name and brand. Our raw materials are high-quality coated steel sheets as well as galvanised steel sheets. Our coated products have a term of guarantee of 10–20 years. Our partner for the coated steel sheets Tata Steel is Europe's second and the world's seventh-largest steel maker, which provides innovative solutions for the construction, automotive, packaging, mechanical engineering and other markets worldwide. Tata Steel Colors is part of the Tata Steel and manufactures coated steel sheets for cladding of buildings, consumer products and industrial goods. Colorcoat® range based on four decades of innovation, strict testing procedures and manufacturing excellence, includes a range of finished steel products, which have been used on countless projects around the world. Tata Steel Colors main sites that produce products for the construction markets are located in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and France. Tata Steel has granted Metehe Oy a status of a Tata Steel Accredited Distributor, which demonstrates a high standard of quality and service for supply of Colorcoat® products. The closer cooperation with Tata Steel allows Metehe to enhance efforts for distribution of pre-finished steel in Finland, and ensures that the competition on the Finnish market remains despite the merger SSAB and Ruukki.
