Metabolic Office is a contemporary ecological design and research practice based in Ahmedabad that uses integrated and whole systems thinking by utilising existing patterns and resilient features observed in topographies and eco-systems to create regenerative forms of production, inhabitation and wilderness. M.O. has been working on a variety of land design projects in Gujarat at various scales - from master planning, rewilding, water management, landscaping and real estate projects, that rely on effective design solutions that are highly contextual and case specific. M.O. has an advanced working knowledge of Geographical Information Systems - having worked on projects that process planetary scale remote sensing data from various sources to connect disparate institutions and research groups to be able to develop strategies for Climate adaptation, mitigation and resilience.
