There are 537 million people living with diabetes worldwide, and the complications of the disease cause 6.7 million deaths each year. The diabetic community is neglected in certain areas, and although there are solutions available, the lack of expert doctors and specialists, coupled with the overwhelming amount of information on the internet, doesn't truly help the diabetic community navigate and become truly conscious about their condition. The mission of MEROVA Diabetic Health is to build a digital hospital and online wound care center for diabetic patients. On our platform, we connect patients with doctors and utilize the knowledge of specialists to assist in medical decision-making, thereby expediting care. Additionally, we provide patient follow-up, ensuring that patients are supported even after leaving the doctor's office. We participate in monitoring the patient's condition and, if necessary, suggest further therapeutic options. We empower the patient to be an active participant in their healing process and provide all necessary support. The care of both the group with complications and the group without complications is a multidisciplinary task. The flow of information between doctors is crucial, and managing daily tasks for patients is also challenging. The management of complications requires specialists, but there is a tremendous shortage of them.
