Overview

Currently, hospitals and healthcare workers are running on a low amount of key PPE items (gloves, gowns and masks), which are essential to protect them from the COVID-19 dangers. Especially for the COVID-19 Assessment Centre of Ottawa, our frontline workers are struggling with the low stock of PPE items, as my friend described last week who is currently studying at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Medicine. Thereby, as a behalf of Merivale High School's Fundraiser Club, we have decided to support our heroes by initiating this fundraiser. Our goal is to support $10,000 worth of donation by directly providing a financial donation to the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund. As a friend, nephew and family of whom are currently on the frontline, I want to deeply appreciate your support and interest.
