Based near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Merit Technologies Sdn Bhd has effectively utilized prior knowledge and experience in offshore pipeline repair systems to develop the Helicoid Epoxy Sleeve in the last quarter of 2008. Active commercialization of the Helicoid Epoxy Sleeve began in the fourth quarter of 2013, through Merit Technologies Sdn Bhd’s regional office as well as its international network of agents & distributors. Since incorporation, Merit Technologies Sdn Bhd has been actively engineering and manufacturing the Helicoid Epoxy Clamp, as well as supplying fiber- reinforced polymer and providing services for various applications such as insulation protection, pipe supports, pre-insulated pipes and tank bottom linings. The Helicoid Epoxy Sleeve™ is an innovative, full-composite system, developed for the strengthening and protection of risers & conductors in the Oil & Gas industry. Able to be installed above-water and sub-sea, with a main focus on the splash-zone area.
