Overview

Mentorship Pathway’s mission is to engage, excite and enlighten students to pursue business careers through youth career exploration and development. Our vision is that every student that participates in our mentoring program will be able to plan, develop, grow, and manage their business careers. Our values reflect the thinking of our founder, Anthony Sutton. They guide the way we work with our mentors, mentees, and stakeholders. We are committed to doing the right thing and conducting ourselves in a way that maintains trust and respect. We are also committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. At an early age, Anthony Sutton had the experience of having a consistent adult presence in his life, offering advice, sharing their life experiences, and helping him navigate challenges. This type of mentoring received throughout his youth connected him to personal and professional growth and development, and social and economic opportunities. Anthony stated that “Mentoring is a proven approach to drive rich learning and development for both mentees and mentors.” Since opening its doors, Mentorship Pathway has forged strong partnerships with the local business community, media, school districts, and other youth-serving organizations in the community. Mentoring is a successful and cost-effective intervention with an outstanding rate of success. For example, 98% of all youth mentored complete their education. That alone raises their employability, income, and ability to support and strengthen the economy, rather than become a drain on it. We highly ask you to consider giving to our program. We will be transparent with every dollar you donate and share with you how it impacted our mentees.
