The Melrose group was launched in 1987, it began as a pharmacy downtown Calgary, and then developed into a retail powerhouse. The group expanded into the city of Airdrie with the addition of a Pharmasave, later then established "The Store Upstairs" fashion boutique in 2001. With the continuous expansion of the company, the founder then added 2 major seasonal pop-up stores, Destination Christmas & The Halloween Store. In 2018 the company continued its growth by extending its realm into the field of E-Commerce and launched the Melrose & Co. fashion boutique.
