Overview

In 1920, our grand-grandfather George started to produce honey using the first traditional beehives. The beekeeping spirit began to rise. Our family's love for the beekeeping was really unique, despite all the difficulties of those years. In the beginning, we produced honey just for our family and the closer area of chalkidiki. One of George's sons, Jonh (our grandfother), took in charge in 1958 and decided to be a professional beekeper. He buys 60 traditional beehives and a horse as a start and in two years the number goes up to 300 and he also buys the first european style beehives. The effort, the meraki and the love for bees gives the opportunity for growth and our family buys the first beekeeping truck. Meanwhile, our uncle Geoerge grows up and at the age of 18 (1983), he becomes a professional beekeeper as well. Father and son move on, based on their common love for the beekeeping, upgrade their equipment and increase the number of the beehives. The honey was sweet but their daily effort was sour.. . At present, owning more than 1900 european beehives, trucks, modern professional beekiping equipment and production facilities of high standards their dream came true. We move our beehives all over Greece in order to produce different types of honey of the highest quality, propolis, pollen, wax (used also for our wax creams) and royal jelly. Based on our love for beekiping and the deep knowledge we gained over the decades, we are confident that we can meet all the high expectations of our customers.
