MelaCheck helps individuals who do not have access to proper healthcare to check their skin for possibly malignant melanoma. MelaCheck uses a detailed questionnaire specifically crafted to help gather data on the specific skin lesion. MelaCheck asks the user certain questions about the potentially malignant mole. MelaCheck gathers the data from the questionnaire to reach a consensus about whether the skin mole has a high risk of being potentially malignant or not. With MelaCheck, we aim to allow people to track the progress of their moles from the comfort of their own homes at no cost while also raising awareness for Melanoma.
