MEIDAM is an international non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It unites leading academic scientists, researchers, clinicians, and scholars to exchange and share their expertise and outcomes on all aspects of Dermatology & Aesthetics. Our Visions We envision a world where clinicians, researchers and stakeholders come together to enhance dermatologic and aesthetic medicine practices to ease the suffering and improve the quality of life of patients and to achieve excellence in healthcare delivery in the Middle East and around the globe. Our Mission To foster scientific and clinical collaborations in dermatology and aesthetic medicine, and to promote evidence-based practices that ensure optimal patient care. MEIDAM supports initiatives that impact the communities we serve and provides a platform for clinicians and scientists to share knowledge, exchange ideas and start collaborative projects that can enhance the standards of dermatologic and aesthetic care. We are committed to increasing diversity and achieving equity in these fields of medicine. Our main tools to accomplish this mission are research, education, advocacy and mentorship. Our Activities MEIDAM supports all scientific, educational, humanitarian and advocacy-related endeavors that aim to advance the fields of Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine. HUMANITARIAN Various efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of people in conflict-zones. EDUCATIONAL Webinars, grand rounds and workshops to boost the skills of healthcare providers on an international scale. SCIENTIFIC Scientific meetings and projects where experts come together to discuss the scientific development and achievement in Dermatology & Aesthetics. RESEARCH Supporting research conduct and dissemination to encourage evidence-based practice. ADVOCACY Keeping vocal on issues that may hinder the development and progress in the fields of dermatology and aesthetics such as inequity and pandemic responses.
