Overview

We, at Medivow Foundations, owe it to ourselves to live up to our name “Medi+Vow”. It is a vow to serve affordable and reliable healthcare services to the society, particularly to rural India. We believe that access to proper healthcare services is one of the key features in the development of a healthy and progressive society. India does not produce as many doctors to cater to the needs of ‘Bharat’, therefore our vision is to leverage latest technology towards providing better and timely medical services to the remotest areas of rural India. Our mission is to setup Medivow Centres in various villages where people do not have access to proper medical facilities. Our centres would work like “Virtual OPD centres” to provide telemedicine through web-based video conferencing solution besides other services to cover the whole gamut of healthcare. We have already started off with Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh to setup a model centre where we are all the facilities mentioned above. Our long term goal is to create a multiple of such ‘Medivow Centres’ so that we could expand the reach of medical advice to people living in remote areas and who do not have access to right medical intervention at the right time. We are targeting areas which are little far flung from the nearest city and also where there is some internet connectivity because the basis of our services is an internet connection. Where there is either no medical infrastructure or where there is a presence of only local ‘Jhola-chaap’ doctors who do not have the right competence.
