The Municipal Climate Change Action Centre (MCCAC) was established in 2009 to provide Alberta municipalities with funding and capacity building programs supporting climate change mitigation and adaptation. The MCCAC is a collaborative initiative delivered by Alberta Municipalities in partnership with the Rural Municipalities of Alberta and the Government of Alberta.
