Mastershiv.in is an organisation under the ambit of SSB Engineers founded in 1999 by its founder Shibsankar Bhattacharyya Master Shiv is a researched based holistic human development pursuit committed to sustainable socio-economic development. It endeavors to convert each individual as an asset by training, retraining, education and human development processes directed at sustainable organizational and personal growth. This distinguishes Master Shiv from similar outfits engaged in routine training activities. Apart from the above Master Shiv has been researching and practicing Meditation Techniques for more than three decades now, initially under the tutelage of Late Shri Paramanada Giri, an ascetic residing near Joshimath and an erstwhile IIT Post Graduate of 103 years. He has delivered more than 1000 man hours of programmes and have been accredited by some of the prestigious PSU’s and Private/Public Institutions including prestigious colleges Given below is a little more detail of some the programmes he regularly conducts: • Managing Stress and Depression through Meditation and Yoga An Article Published by LinkedIn was written by me: Managing stress is another one of those programmes in the same enigma. If stress was absent no innovations would have taken place nor would the world have moved ahead. So is stress management programmes all about controlling stress or directing stress to the right direction? I know I am ruffling a lot of feathers but that is what I have been doing for the past 30 years. In psychology, stress is a feeling of strain and pressure. Stress is a type of psychological pain. Small amounts of stress may be desired, beneficial, and even healthy. Positive stress helps improve athletic performance. It also plays a factor in motivation, adaptation, and reaction to the environment. Excessive amounts of stress, however, may lead to bodily harm. Stress can increase the risk of strokes, heart attacks, ulcers, and mental illnesses such as depression Stress can be external and related to the environment, but may also be caused by internal perceptions that cause an individual to experience anxiety or other negative emotions surrounding a situation, such as pressure, discomfort, etc., which they then deem stressful. Humans experience stress, or perceive things as threatening, when they do not believe that their resources for coping with obstacles (stimuli, people, situations, etc.) are enough for what the circumstances demand. When people think the demands being placed on them exceed their ability to cope, they then perceive stress This module teaches participants to differentiate between positive stress and harmful stress. Enhancing positive stress and managing negative stress is the main objective. The process involves exercises, meditation, understanding and analysing situations, finally removing obstacles to enhance serotine levels in the body through proper hormone secretion. It removes toxins and also teaches participants to address difficult and so called hopeless situations. Programme Details: o Duration: 2 days o Faculty: Two Faculties with one working as co faculty o Format: Exercises, Interaction, Evaluations, Feed Back, Corrective Practices, final one to one feedback, and suggestions for areas of improvements o Location: Class Room with space / Open grounds
