The Foundation unlocks barriers to entry and progression in the building and construction industry. The Foundation was established by Master Builders Victoria in 2010 as an independent, registered chharity to support those with big dreams and an aspiration to build their careers within the industry but who are facing some type of barrier, be it financial or some other type of barrier. The Foundation aims to help individuals reach their potential by providing financial assistance through a range of scholarships. Financial assistance can be used towards course fees, the development of a tool kit or other equipment and resources to support careers. The building and construction industry is booming and offers a wide range of career options to suit everyone. The Foundation supports individuals at different stages of their careers, from apprentices, trainees and cadets through to those seeking to build their skills in areas such as project management, leadership and management or aspiring to be a registered builder. Our industry is home to a varied and talented workforce from a range of backgrounds. There is still room for improvement though, and there is work to be done to build a diverse and inclusive industry.
