Overview

Masshii is a sustainable accessories brand, which empowers, trains and employs deaf women in El Salvador to transform non-conventional, earth friendly products, mostly derived from waste to unique and exclusive pieces. Using the circular model approach, we collect waste, like electric cables, magazines, plastic bottles, inner tubes, cans, newspaper and fish scales to use as our input resources. We revive artisanal techniques to transform these materials, thus creating more employment opportunities and preserving part of our culture. Our pieces are inspired by different cultures, adding a multicultural aspect to our brand. With our products we contribute to the well-being of deaf women in El Salvador and their families while protecting and conserving our environment. Most importantly, we create awareness by promoting the use of products made ethically and responsibly and inspire others to do the same. We empower and create opportunities for women who are at risk of becoming involved with gangs and violence and inspire them to be agents of change in their own communities. We make a statement to make a difference. We produce trendy, high quality women accessories that make a real difference in El Salvador, both environmentally and socially.
