Mashael AlObaidan is a Saudi female Rally Driver, an international icon for women empowerment and a lifestyle brand ambassador. With an impressive race portfolio - from the regional Sharqiyah Baja to the international Extreme E Rally, Mashael is renowned for her sharp prowess, excellent maneuvers and stealthy navigation in some of the world's most challenging courses, where she ranked high out of established male racers in Saudi Arabia. She is currently undergoing extreme training through regional and international off-track competitions in preparation for Dakar 2022 season. Mashael has been active in the world of adrenaline-pumping sports since she was six years old. After pursuing a Masters’ degree in California, USA and returning to Saudi Arabia, she was instrumental in creating the first Saudi Arabian Automobile and Motorcycle Federation license for female rally racers. Mashael believes in striking a balance between pursuing goals while keeping her Saudi Arabian cultural roots intact. She is passionate about uplifting women of all ages, breaking the gender stereotype in Saudi Arabia, and highlighting the progressive nature of the country. She has been featured in prestigious regional and international media publications, including the Saudi Gazette, and is currently in talks for an exclusive documentary series, a motorsports TV show, and a streaming platform partnership. Mashael is often invited to speak at global forums, where she delivers keynotes on women empowerment, personal growth and development, as well as Saudi Arabia’s transformation, its Vision 2030 that aims to boost public sectors including recreation and tourism, and the role of women along the journey.
