Overview

Mary Ann Winters & Associates, LLC provides fundraising counsel to a wide array of not-for-profit organizations, helping them raise the philanthropic funding required to carry out their mission and deliver their services. Prior to starting her own company, Mary Ann Winters, MPS, served as Senior Vice President at Ghiorsi & Sorrenti, Inc. Ms. Winters joined Ghiorsi & Sorrenti, Inc. in 1990 and, during her tenure, provided executive direction in multi-million dollar capital campaigns, philanthropic capacity assessments, audits, and management of comprehensive development programs for a diversity of clients. Ms. Winters has served in various volunteer executive positions, including that of President of the Westchester Association of Development Officers, a professional development organization in Westchester County, New York and founding member and later chair of the Sisters of Mercy Development Advisory Committee. She is currently a member of the Mercy Foundation Board of Directors and member/treasurer of Heritage Hills of Westchester Condo 18 Board of Managers. Ms. Winters holds a B.A. from the College of Mount Saint Vincent, Riverdale, New York, and an MPS in Fundraising Management from the Graduate School of Management and Urban Professions of the New School for Social Research, New York, NY. She holds the distinction of being listed in Marquis Who's Who in America as well as six of Marquis' companion publications and is a frequent lecturer on fundraising issues for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), New England Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (NEAHP), National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), and a variety of other organizations throughout the country.
