Overview
Martex Fiber is North America's No. 1 textile upcycler We recycle pre-consumer and post-consumer textile wastes, diverting almost 200 million pounds of fabric waste from landfills each year. The company recently acquired Bollag International's waste services division - a Charlotte NC company with Central America operations that collects post-industrial textile wastes supporting Martex's mission of “no fiber left behind.” Offerings: Waste Services: For cut and sew operations, knitters, weavers, spinners, non-woven manufacturers and fiber producers. Our recovery and sourcing division imports and exports textile waste and reprocessed fiber. Locations - Charlotte NC, Spartanburg SC, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Trading: We sell textile wastes, rags, and wipers for a wide variety of uses. Fiber: We convert textile rag into engineered recycled fiber blends suitable for automotive products, green building materials, home furnishings and fill products. Materials include cotton, polyester, polypropylene, rayon, acrylic, nylon and aramid fibers. We also offer “360 recycling” to recycle industrial scraps into regenerated fiber. Eco2cotton yarns: Our Jimtex Yarns division, based in Lincolnton, GA, transforms reclaimed fiber into eco-friendly ECO2Cotton® and ECO2fiber™ blend yarns, The yarns are offered in more than 50 stock colors, each with unique colors due to an environmentally friendly blend process that uses no new dyes.
