Our Marrakech Riad, "Dar Zaman", is a fusion of ancient Moroccan architecture and modern comforts, nestled at the end of a peaceful lane in the heart of the magical Marrakech medina. The riad is located less than one mile north of the main square of Jemaa el Fna, close to the souks and several historical sites such as the Musee de Confluence in Dar El Bacha, the wonderful medina garden Le Jardin Secret and the Medersa Ben Youssef. Our Marrakech Riad is within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and well placed for several popular Marrakech restaurants, such as Limoni, Dar Zellij, Dar Yacout, Le Jardin, Terrasse des Epices and Cafe Arabe. Dar Zaman offers four uniquely designed double en-suite air conditioned rooms. Both the Carbone and Douiria rooms can be configured with two single beds. All rooms are equipped with hairdryer, digital safe and complimentary designer shower gel and shampoo. The riad has an interior courtyard with plunge pool and three sitting rooms, two complete with log fires, the perfect setting for a romantic dinner on a winter evening. We offer fun cooking classes at Dar Zaman with our chef Karima, which include a tour of the local farmers market and the neighbourhood communal oven at the end of our street. We can also organise private excursions to the Atlas Mountains, the Ouzoud Waterfalls, Essaouira, and also guided walking tours of the Marrakech medina. The riad has excellent high speed wi-fi throughout the property, a small library and a selection of board games.
