MARMIL was founded in 1978 in Heraklion Crete by Ioannis Vitsaras. In a short time since its establishment, MARMIL managed to gain the confidence of the local market in Crete and then to undertake important projects in the rest of Greece. Today, MARMIL has the biggest marble Warehouse in Crete and has gained a clear export orientation as its export worldwide (China, Singapore, USA, Saudi Arabia, Great Britain, Israel, Cyprus). Greek marbles are the main pillar of MARMIL's product catalog. From the well-known white marbles of Greece, such as Volakas, Kyknos, Thassos, Naxos, Dionysos, Nestos, to the colored marbles Sheila Gray, Green Tinos, Beige of Ioannina, Damasta and Verde Candia from our privately-owned quarry in the perfecture of Rethymnon, are an excellent marble collage, capable to meet the requirements of any project on the domestic and international market. The wide range of MARMIL products complement marbles and granites imported from all over the world, also the quartz surfaces of COMPAC and porcelain surfaces COVERLAM TOP by GRESPANIA. With considerable experience in the acquisition and delivery of major projects, combined with the deep knowledge of the materials and the modern marble processing equipment, MARMIL is able to fulfill the most demanding projects, with absolute respect to the quality and delivery time specifications of the project. Our facilities are located in the Industrial Area of Heraklion - Crete and include the Department of Slab Production, the Department of Project Management, the Artistic Department, the Warehouse of Slabs, the Warehouse of marble Blocks, the Exhibition Hall, the Offices of Administration, the Accounting Department and the Commercial Department. Modernization and expansion of our building facilities is in progress in the Industrial Area of Heraklion, as well as the construction of a new modern marble slab production plant, just outside the city of Heraklion, in the Industrial Area of Alagni.
