Marinas Guardian is an UK Registered Charity (no. 1205350) committed to protecting the Ocean. Our collective understanding of the Ocean has significantly increased over the last two decades due to the work of many organisations and individuals. This has led to two significant international agreements, the Convention on Biological Diversity and the UN High Seas Treaty, which combined aim to protect 30% of the global Ocean by 2030 (the 30x30 target). Marinas Guardian brings a unique mix of business, technology, scientific and marine knowledge to identify ocean problems and bring the relevant resources together, combining our team with our partners to proactively address each project. We develop best practice and bridge gaps to develop a coordinated ocean protection effort. We deliver Marine Protected Areas, address the issue of Potential Polluting Wrecks and work on campaigns to protect marine species under threat.
