The Manhattan Beach Education Foundation is a community driven fundraising organization, which supplements state funding for programs that inspire learning, enrich teaching, and promote innovation and academic excellence in the public schools of Manhattan Beach. Founded in 1983 by concerned parents and community leaders of the South Bay, the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation has dedicated over $90 million to strengthen Manhattan Beach public schools with superior academic and enrichment programs. The Manhattan Beach Education Foundation is a California non-profit, public benefit, corporation. It is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
