Penning for Hope, LLC ventured out on this publishing journey after years of searching for books to help tell the story of the disease of addiction in a way that open lines of communication for questions and lays the foundation for future conversations. Mama Paca: My Heart Won't Let You Go is the 1st of a 4 book series for children who have lost a parent from the opioid epidemic. The book is dedicated to all the loved ones who fought courageously and lost their battle with the disease of addiction. You are very much loved and missed. We honor you by keeping your memory and spirit alive in your children. Your death is not in vain. We use this opportunity to shine light on the darkness of stigma and shame to extinguish this disease for future generations.
