As a creative artist and designer Fiona has ability to create new concepts, designs and proposals for artwork and site specific murals for commercial and residential interiors. Working closely with Interior Designers and Architects on projects with architectural spaces to propose designs, artworks and murals to complement the overall interior design direction. Using paint, gold, copper and silverleaf as well as three dimensional elements Fiona MacKenzie can propose creative solution to spaces. Commercial Projects she has worked on include: EMAAR Properties PSJC,was a client and which Fiona MacKenzie liasing with Interior Design Manager proposed an original design for atrium area in five star hotel The Address, Dubai Marina, Dubai , UAE. She then carried out actual execution of artwork. Initial artwork was designed taking into consideration factors involving actual execution of artwork on site. Due to levels of scaffolding required for such a tall artwork (40Metres High) Proposed and executed an artwork feature to enhance atrium area and artwork covered more than eight floors in height.(40 metres High) Designed an image which was then executed in glass at the headquarters of the Commercial Bank of Dubai, UAE. Mural height was approx. (40 metres high) . Fiona MacKenzie is also able to work on smaller scale residential projects and produce original designs and artworks for print runs or original paintings. She is also available to help make decisions on narrowing down design process to propose design options for client to choose from.
