The main mission of the University is to serve people by providing quality and accessible education. The vision of the University is to achieve the status of a world-class university by entering the world’s top 100 universities. KAZGUU organisational structure includes: • Higher School of General Education and Language Training • Higher School of Economics • Higher School of Law. • Business School • Institute of Postgraduate Education and International Relations, which oversees the Master's and Doctorate programmes • Zimanov Academy of Research in Law and Economics. The best lecturers in the country work here: members of the National Academy of Sciences, foreign professors, doctors and candidates of sciences – a total of 300 professionals. KAZGUU University’s International activities Since the foundation of the University, over 70 agreements were signed and effectively implemented on mutual cooperation with foreign universities in the field of science and education. The University maintains constant partnership relations with such international organizations as the UN, the OSCE, the F. Ebert Foundation, UNICEF, UNESCO, the ICRC and others. The total area of the building is 32,235.1 square meters; the building is located on the left bank of the Yesil River in Astana. As all other universities, KAZGUU strives to improve its facilities, and the University has gained considerable experience in attracting funds from companies and individual sponsors to improve university facilities. This experience is an example of best case practice among all the universities in the country. In total, renovations of 10 classrooms have been sponsored, for a total of more than 70 million tenge.
