At Oil Lynx, we are fully aware of the impact of errors or omissions in the quantity and reconciliation calculation of your shipments. These mistakes can occur due to carelessness, negligence, lack of knowledge and even to perpetrate fraud. Our commitment to protect your interests is not comparable with the level shown by the other parties involved in the cargo transfer. Our role as Loss Control is to ensure : - The measurement and sampling equipment used, is duly certified, calibrated and in good condition - The level and temperature measurements are carried out precisely using the API - MPMS methodology - Samples of the product are as representative as possible to the quality of the cargo - Each barrel is quantified and considered into the volume calculation, including any ROB/OBQ - Vessel Time Log reflects the reality of the operation, without bias - The laboratory testings are performed according to the corresponding ASTM method - Independent Cargo Surveyors conduct their business impartially and professionally - Vessel Experience Factor (VEF) does not present errors or lacking of information Lynx offers services in accordance with the highest international standards (API/ASTM, etc.) supervising cargo transfers, taking advantage of years' of experience in the Maritime and Inspection business combined with the deep knowledge of the oil and gas industry. We commit to : - Maintain an "active' presence on board during the whole operation - Constant communication with the client, informing progress of the cargo transfers, and actions to avoid problems - Verify that both Inspector and Ship calculations are correct - Lay-time monitoring as well as risk of falling in demurrage
