NORTH CANTON, OHIO - In Late 2002, a man feeling nostalgic for the days of his childhood developed a plan to bring the past to the present. He presented his idea of resurrecting teardrop camper trailers to a couple of brothers in Elkhart, Indiana. They got excited and immediately began prototyping a 4×8 Retro trailer in their garage. As the quantity of trailers ordered increased, the operation was moved out of a garage and into a manufacturing facility. Over the next couple years, production gradually and consistently ramped up from a 2-3 a week to a 3-4 a day. In late 2009, manufacturing was brought to Ohio for greater oversight, accountability and creativity. Since that time, sales have exploded - particularly with the acquisition of the T@B Teardrop Travel Trailer. From the dozen or so units produced during that first year to the more than 10,000 that are now out on the highways and bi-ways across the globe, Little Guy, T@B , T@G and MyPod Teardrop Campers are the most fun, identifiable, economical and different light weight trailers on the road today.
