Overview

The Lithuanian American Community of Minnesota, a non-profit organization, is part of the Lithuanian American Community, Inc. which was formally established in 1951. The Lithuanian American Community of MN strives to organize all Lithuanian Americans living in Minnesota to work for the preservation and promotion of Lithuanian heritage and for the support of free and independent Lithuania. We serve to bring together Lithuanians for cultural, social, and educational activities. Among our activities are participation in the annual Festival of Nations at the St. Paul River Center, celebration of Lithuanian Independence Day of February 16, and various other social gatherings such as picnics and Christmas parties throughout the year.
