Overview

Our family began competing as Liquid Fire Fishing Team on the SKA Mercury Tournament Trail in 2005. Our team members include: Mark, Joshua, Crockett, and Audrey Henderson. In 2008, we had an opportunity to go to Key West, FL, to compete in the SKA Yamaha Professional Kingfish Tour. We placed 11th in this the 1st leg. We went on the win leg 2 in Jensen Beach, FL, and place 2nd in leg 4 in St. Simon’s Island, GA. Although we were rookies, our team won the 2008 Angler of the Year title... only the second time this title had been won by a rookie team. Crockett Henderson, our team's angler, has won more Junior Angler titles than can be counted and is the only junior angler to capture the Pro Top Junior Angler title multiple times (2008, 2011 & 2012). Our family won the 2012 SKA Division 1 Title for Open Class, and Crockett was the 2012 SKA Division 1 Top Junior Angler. We have come so close, twice more, placing 2nd in both 2016 and 2017. We have multiple tournaments wins and top five placements. Two especially exciting wins include: the 2015 Swansboro 5-O in which we won over $74,000.00 and more recently the 2017 Kingfish Cup Championship in which we took home over $96,000.00. Our bucket list win would be the White Marlin Open....someday, we hope!
