Overview

Life-Skills Development Center (LDC) is a non-political, social, cultural and educational non-profit civil society organization founded in 2010. LDC offers programs, services and initiatives focused on youth and women development, healthy living, social responsibility, gender equality, advocacy, and social and cultural reforms, according to the unique needs of the communities it engages. Our Vision: Our Vision is changing Afghanistan to a country with a highly developed social, economical, cultural, educational, and health care system; through empowerment of youth and women. Our Mission: Our mission is empowerment of women and youth and promoting their socio/economic and political status. We accomplish this by providing: Educational programs (including classes, trainings, workshops, conference and meetings) Economic empowerment through vocational programs Advocacy Programs Health programs Political engagement of youth and women in the society Our Values: LDC is guided by five core values: justice, care, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
