LifeMed was established in 2006 with two ambulances and a vision of serving the community with the highest possible level of emergency medical care available. Our owners were focusing their operations in the Moot area in Pretoria. Today we serve the whole of Pretoria and surrounds as well as Mpumalanga and Limpopo. We are well known in all the areas where we operate for effectiveness, professionalism and speedy response to all medical emergencies. We are accepted by all medical aids in the country as our rates are well within the rates prescribed by medical aids in South Africa. We also care for people that are not members of medical aids and will never refuse to treat any person in need of care. We are one of the leading First Aid, Basic Fire Fighting and CPD training service providers in the country. Our Events Medical Management Division has delivered medical support for some of the biggest events in the country and this remains one of the key sections of our business. We are service providers to companies like Crisis on Call, International SOS, Europ Assistance, CSIR and Denel Dynamics. We provide 24 Hour Contact Centre Access for Emergency Medical Response to these companies on a national basis through the SAPAESA National Ambulance Network. We believe that our clients and patients are at the centre of all that we do. We also believe in supporting the communities that we operate in and we are involved in many community projects throughout the year. We believe that the reason why Life Med is growing from strength to strength is because we really care about people, whether that person is an employee or a client/patient.
