Lebanese International Business Council - LIBC

Non-profit Organizations

Overview

Founded in 1999 by Dr. Nassib Fawaz, the Lebanese International Business Council (LIBC), a non-profit organization, promotes the economic and financial development of Lebanon by encouraging investments in various profitable projects while connecting the Lebanese businesspeople around the globe. The creation of the LIBC is a natural response to the increasing need for the Lebanese diaspora to work together and become a major economic and intellectual force that could play a great financial and political role in today’s global marketplace. The council invites and encourages Lebanese researchers, journalists, professionals, and other prominent individuals to be part of its global network, as we believe in a diverse membership that represents a variety of backgrounds, and which will transcend the boundaries of various nationalities, divisive politics, and sectarianism. We have taken various actions in the market reform of Lebanon to fundamentally alter and improve its international position and hosted successful conferences to link the Lebanese worldwide.
