Overview

LES-CH is an association under Swiss law which takes a practical and business-orientated approach to every aspect of the protection and commercialisation of intellectual property: trademark strategies, intangible property rights (patents, designs, brands, copyrights, etc.), licencing and franchising agreements and other forms of regional and international cooperation. Our members include around 300 specialists from small, medium and large industry and service companies as well as universities and the consulting professions. LES-CH is a member of Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), based in the United States, an umbrella organisation bringing together more than 11,000 people from more than 90 countries. LES-CH organises regular training courses and expert conferences both nationally and internationally, takes part in consultations, maintains contacts with authorities and organisations (WIPO, UNIDO, ICC, OECD, European Commission, etc.) and enjoys partial NGO status. LES-CH offers a forum in which to develop knowledge, expand experience and maintain contacts, with its industry-specific international working groups, available to all LES members, offering a perfect opportunity for close interaction. Members receive the quarterly ‘les Nouvelles’ and electronic access to an international member directory and extensive relevant information (www.lesi.org).
