Overview

Legal Assistants provide legal research, drafting, reviews of documents (including reports and disclosure documents), preparing summaries, law related articles and social media content, paralegal and personal assistant services for solicitors and Counsel. Our Principal, Rebecca Dannell worked as a family law solicitor for twelve years and has a Masters of Family Law. Rebecca also has a keen interest in criminal and civil law. In addition to her family law Masters studies, Rebecca has also studied criminal law and civil procedure, sentencing, advanced evidence, litigation and advocacy. Rebecca was selected to participate in the UWA Unrepresented Criminal Appellants' Scheme and also engaged by two Professors to undertake legal research in areas such as psychiatric injury and retail leasing. As such, although our main legal research and drafting focus is on family law matters, in certain circumstances, we can also undertake legal research and drafting in other areas of law.
