Overview

LDS Łazewski Depo & Partners was founded in 1995, when intellectual property’s importance as a business asset was only being to be understood in Poland’s young market economy. Our mission then was to focus on developing the depth and quality of our expertise. And this is still our focus today. LDS partners and associates take part both in internal and external seminars and trainings and in the work of various IP associations, including AIPPI (The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), INTA (International Trademark Association), LES (Licensing Executives Society), ECTA (European Communities Trade Mark Association), Marques (The Association of European Trade Mark Owners), PTMG (Pharmaceutical Trade Marks Group), EPI (Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office), EPLAW (The European Patent Lawyers Association), FICPI (The International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys)and the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys. LDS AWARDS LDS features in leading global rankings, including: - Chambers & Partners Europe and Global Guides - WTR1000 – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals - IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Professionals - IP STARS by Managing IP - Legal 500 OUR TEAM With over 40 professionals and support staff, the LDS strong team delivers services of the highest standard. The team brings together lawyers (advocates and legal advisors), patent attorneys, European patent attorneys and European Community trademark and design agents. As well as monitoring Polish and European case-law and legislative developments, we are always on the lookout for “make-law” cases and cases on the cutting edge of the Polish and European IP – cases where from the outset there is potential for a preliminary reference to the European Court of Justice or the Enlarged Board of the Supreme Court of Poland.
