Lara Guide Dog School was established in July 2008 by a group of young people who dreamed of improving the life and mobility of the blind and visually impaired persons, while introducing the Guide Dog movement in Greece. We serve equality, autonomous living, and access to society for all people as well as promoting love and respect for animals. Our mission is to promote and enhance independence to blind and visually impaired people through the use of a guide dog. Lara Guide Dog School is an associate member of the European Guide Dog Federation (EGDF) and is working closely together with the VBM Guide Dog School Switzerland, which is member of the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF).
