Lamb Films is an Independent Film Company from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Larry Cowan set up Lamb Films in 2007 to provide a platform for local talent and to create a community of filmmakers. After years of working in the Hospitality Industry pretending to be a manager, Larry left to pursue his filmmaking dreams by sweeping up rubbish on film sets. While gaining as much experience as he could in every department from Tim Robbins stand-in, to set security, In the Last 16 years Lamb Films have produced all types of films for all types of audiences, this ranges from feature film and documentaries to short films and cross-community film projects. Their films have played at over a hundred film festivals worldwide, won awards, and some are available online. Community Arts has always been at the core of Lamb Films with over 30 projects deliveed to community groups all over Ireland and The UK.
