Lalita is designed by Brown Graduate, Rena Andrews who creates bold, seductive and elegant hand-crafted collections. The line is made with curated fabrics that evoke delectable sensations on the skin, from supple Italian leather and sterling silver tassels to eco-friendly bamboo fabric, Lalita will ignite your senses. Although Lalita may not yet be a household name, pieces have been seen worldwide on viral images of Sharon Stone for the New York Times in a Lalita Strappy Bralette, Janet Jackson on the cover of Billboard magazine in a signature Lalita Garter Tank, Tyra Banks in bespoke leather cuffs for Paper Magazine and Demi Lovato in a Lalita corset belt for her “Fall in Line” music video with Christina Aguilera along with numerous other publications worldwide. The Lalita range includes tank tops, lingerie and lounge wear; hand stitched leather cuffs and chokers; handcrafted sterling bracelets and necklaces designed to be subtly seductive; and a playful twist on Martini Picks with a soft, hand-sewn leather tassel to add a fun twist to any hors d’oeuvre, cocktail, or martini while elegantly presented in their patented garter closure boxes. Lalita is the Hindu Goddess of Bliss and her name means “she who plays”. In reverence to the name, many Lalita pieces incorporate the concept of play and transformation.
