Lab Recherche Environnement is a research partnership between VINCI and three ParisTech engineering schools: MINES ParisTech, AgroParisTech and École des Ponts ParisTech. Our goal is to develop new tools to improve the environmental impact of VINCI projects. The research teams cooperate with VINCI employees and work in connection with VINCI projects on three main topics: energy efficiency of buildings, life cycle assessment of neighborhoods, biodiversity, sustainable mobility. These topics meet the strong expectations of our clients and future employees. These are also becoming key business subjects for VINCI and the construction industry. The research works are often carried out by young researchers in the framework of their PhD thesis. At the same time, these research efforts lead to operational outcomes and to business opportunities.
