Overview

France is undergoing a startup renaissance driven by a new generation of entrepreneurs, investors, engineers, designers, and other talented people. It’s a new ‘Startup Republic’, home to vibrant tech hubs and a hotbed of talent, imbued with a strong enterprise culture. The name of this movement is La French Tech, and its actors are the French startups. Since 2013, €200 million of public funding supports this movement. French startups are united and visible thanks to a single and powerful brand, La French Tech, both in France and abroad. La French Tech is a government agency of 100+ communities in France and around the world whose mission is to position France as a tech nation. La French Tech Malaysia is in the Malaysian leg. We are the local official one-stop shop on the field to promote the French tech nation, growing French tech startups in Malaysia and attracting local ones to France. We create bridges between France and Malaysia for startups and tech companies by facilitating connections: between the people, the companies, the local and French governments and the other La French Tech in SEA and across the globe.
