Kullo, Tallinn Centre of Extracurricular Activities

Education Administration Programs

Overview

Tallinn Centre for Extracurricular Activities Kullo is Estonia’s oldest and largest centre for extracurricular activities, founded in 1941. At our hobby school, children aged 4-19 as well as adults will find activities that interest them. In a given year, over 1800 pupils in 50 different groups participate in avocational activities. Our mission is to create a stimulating and creative study environment for children and young people and to enable them to pursue a multi-faceted avocational education. The goal of our activity is to inspire young people, allow them to discover their abilities and talents and providing guidance and support for the development of their personality through extracurricular activities. Besides our main building in Tallinn, where we began activity in 1978, Kullo also operates a Children’s Gallery in Tallinn’s Old Town and a Youth Camp in Karepa, Lääne-Viru County.
