Overview

Founded in 1964, Kristian Electric Ltd. is a family-owned-and-operated company that has established itself as a leader within both the welding and material handling industries. Today, the Kristian name is synonymous with trust and experience in our areas of specialty – “Welders and Cranes!” Our unique knowledge, rooted in over five decades of experience and synergy between welders and cranes, allows us to provide the true all-in-one solution for the businesses we serve. Kristian Electric offers new equipment sales, welding supply, welder parts, service, rentals, and calibrations. As a leading distributor for both Miller and Hypertherm, Kristian provides new equipment solutions rooted in our unique experience servicing welding machines across Canada. Not only are we Canada’s #1 Miller parts depot, but we also provide authorized repair and warranty service for brands like Lincoln Electric, ESAB, Hypertherm, Hobart, Bernard, Kohler, Weldcraft and more. Our factory-trained technicians have over 200 years of combined experience on electric and engine-driven welding machines, as well as plasma cutting and induction heating equipment. We are Canada’s only authorized distributor for Miller ProHeat Induction Heating Systems. Kristian Electric provides full-service overhead crane and material handling solutions for our customers across Alberta and Saskatchewan. In addition to providing overhead crane sales, parts, and service, in 2000 we opened a manufacturing division in Edmonton to fabricate custom Kristian overhead cranes. As a leading distributor and service depot of top brands such as Demag, Gorbel, R&M and Columbus McKinnon, Kristian Electric is devoted to supplying our customers with the products they need in a timely and cost-effective manner. Our qualified crane technicians exceed the OHS and CSA requirements, ensuring inspections, maintenance and repairs are always completed with the highest adherence to Canadian safety standards.
