History Kovatera (formally Minecat) is a privately owned Canadian company headquartered in the historical mining district of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. The company has grown significantly since it began manufacturing in 1999 to the point it relocated into a modern 35,000sq/ft manufacturing facility in 2012. Today the Kovatera brand of products is synonymous with the underground mining industry particularly in the company’s home market of Canada. Products Kovatera is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of smaller heavy-duty utility vehicles for the underground mining industry. The products are marketed under the Kovatera brand. These products are engineered from the ground up to meet the rigors and tough duty cycles and applications of the underground mining industry. The mission of the company is to provide value to its customers through a reduction in Total Ownership Costs (TOC) and the resultant Return on Investment (ROI) while meeting very specific application requirements. Currently the company has two (2) product lines Those product lines are: • KT Series Vehicles - Heavy duty underground trucks/utes 13,000lb platform • KM Series Vehicles - Heavy duty underground tractor like utility vehicle. (Kovatera flag ship) The KT and KM series units are also currently available in electric drive configurations. Product Support and Dealership Network Apart from Eastern Manitoba and Ontario, the company sells and services it products through a dealer network in the following countries/regions: • Mongolia • Australia • USA • Western Canada. .
