Established in 1976, the Knowles Group is a privately-owned group of companies with particular interests in aged care, retirement living and property. The Group has proven development expertise to source and execute property opportunities and in-house construction ability to enable cost effective building. Property: Our property investments span office, retail, industrial and residential markets. Aged Care: Wholly owned by the Knowles Group, Arcare is one of Australia’s most innovative aged care providers and one of the largest privately held aged care owners and operators. Arcare operates over 3,600 residential aged care beds and 250 home care packages across 35 locations in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Retirement Living: Previously a significant retirement community developer and operator, we are now re-entering the retirement sector. Our new retirement living business, Sencia, currently has a development pipeline comprising three sites to be delivered in Victoria and New South Wales. The first of these commenced construction in late 2018 in Point Lonsdale, Victoria. This development will comprise 170 architect designed villas and apartments, centered around a waterfront, club style community space.
